Raven Purple Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and black sprinkles

You may have herd of red velvet but I bet you have never herd of purple velvet. This post goes out to all my Ravens fans! Since the Redskins are out I am routing towards the ravens. So I bet y'all are wondering how did she think of this. Well I will tell you. I found one of my favorite red velvet cake recipes, instead of putting in red food coloring I did purple. When I first thought of this. I was seriously debating weather to dye the frosting black and put white sprinkles on top. I was thinking but I decided to keep the frosting white but have black sprinkles. It still keeps the Raven theme but it is a lot easier. If you put the black food coloring in the frosting it turns out kinda gray plus I was scared of running this frosting, which is my favorite cream cheese frosting. Those who will make these are probably leaning towards the Ravens in winning so you probably know why I picked these colors.

These are the coolest things ever!!!!! I love the purple velvet color and it taste great. Its so cool if you are having a party and the Ravens are winning or just scored a touchdown and you just bring these out. OMG I can't explain how cools these are. They are perfect for the ravens because they mathch the colors!  These might sound hard but they are really simple to make. They are just like red velvet cupcakes easy and yummy. If you want to add more then just sprinkles you can bye foundant and make a Ravens design. I am a simple kind of gal so I just like sprinkles. I prefer regualr sprinkles over crystal to,they have more of a texture I like.

I love the frosting! It is so creamy, fluffy, light, its amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it so much and it goes great with the moist soft purple cake.I am loving it. These are super creative and kids love the. I sware when ever I make a cute or colorful thing the got nuts! That happens a lot during the Superbowl when I make football shaped foods.
