WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't roll over this recipe. It may be an interesting way of cooking but if that is a way of living then I will put recipes up for it. I admit- this isn't my original recipe. Like I have said before, I am a carnivor, I love cheese and milk, lots of my snacks relate some how to an animal. I know what vegan is but just to make sure I wasn't breaking a rule, I figured I would find a recipe but add a twist. So for those who don't know, vegan is you eat nothing related to animals. No meat or dairy products. Also you don't eat, well say you had a marshmallow, a marshmallow has gelatin, gelatin is pig fat a pig is an animal you don't eat it. My mom had this friend and when she and her family came to town every few years. One day that they were coming we were about to order the pizza
and she called us. She was like" I forgot to tell you but we became
vegan last year, pasta, rice, salad is fine with us. My mom, lets just say my mom was shocked. When she came to town every few years she would visit us. We always just ordered p was shocked. So my mom says" I wasn't planning on cooking but I can make something work". So her friend said " I can bring my own stuff". She gets here and she brings, soy hot dogs, tofu chicken nuggets, and this fake BBQ pork. It was some artificial thing. So I found this a bit wired. I almost felt bad for the kids. They both loved cheese and ice cream but they couldn't eat it. So on a different topic, there are so many veggies that are barely eaten. You have common ones like carrots, peppers, brocoli, green beans, cucumbers. squash, etc. There are uncommon veggies like parsnips, radishes, turnips, cabbage, eggplant, mushrooms are more eaten in sauce then as a veggie things like that. My moms friend loved spice. I guess If all you have in a stew is veggies you need some flavor. Let me warn you. This is a little spicy. It kicks in in the end. I still much rather have a stew with beef, carrots, potatoes, and the more traditional thing for my taste. But I will say, as vegan things go, this was good. I admit not my favorite, but I'm liking it, not loving liking. I am probably making y'all does she like this or not. I like it a lot and I like how it is so old stile. It is a old recipe that is made with spices that they used to trade in Africa. I am the first to say, I am not a geography, social studies type of gal. But this has a nice story behind it. Lots of people in Africa also traded rice and grains. Lots of vegans put rice in the stew.It gives it a nice texture. I love rice so that was an A+ for me. Most Africans are vegans in Africa. Y'all watch worst cooks in America? I love that show!!!!!! It is so funny how bad they are in the start! They are making a new season on Sunday!!!!!!!!!! So excited! I think Ann is going to win since she won to Bobby last season. But it depends on the people! This dosh is just cutting and stirring. Now the worst cooks are bad, and I mean bad, They might be able to make this. I mean my 3 year old neighbor can make this. I am watching worst cooks right now! Season 3 is on. Well I want to go enjoy the show with my family so g2g bye!
