Garlic mashed potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mashed potatoes have been one of my favorite foods for years. I love how they are so easy to  make but still have the creamy texture and have so much flavor. I have made some interesting mashed potatoes but this is the best one. They hint of the garlic flavor helps the potatoes be BOLD. I make mashed potatoes so much that I can make them in my sleep. If somebody asked me a tip on mashed potatoes I would say just make sure they are soft when you start to mash otherwise it will have a weird texture that isn't the most appealing thing. Something I like about Garlic mashed  potatoes  over regular is you have that you have the nice parmesan cheese and the garlic and it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients-
3 1/2 pounds russet potatoes
2 tablespoons  salt
2cups  half-and-half
6 cloves garlic, crushed
6 ounces grated Parmesan

Directions-
Peel and dice potatoes, making sure all are relatively the same size.
Place in a large saucepan, add the salt, and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to maintain a rolling boil.
Cook until potatoes fall apart when poked with a fork.
Heat the half-and-half and the garlic in a medium saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and set aside.
Remove the potatoes from the heat and drain off the water. Mash and add the garlic-cream mixture and Parmesan; stir to combine.
Let stand for 5 minutes so that mixture thickens
Serve and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
