Sage Pork chops

Yummy, juicy, flavor, good, texture, This passes my test which therefore makes it a delightful delicious dinner. I am not a big pork chop fan. So for me running out of chicken is a big deal. So I went to the store and the chicken wasn't appetizing so I bought some pork chops. So I got pork chops and went over to the herb section and got some sage (it was on sale  it was a must) So I came home and made the pork chops and I have to say they were really good. These taste great with creamy mashed potatoes. Enjoy your delightful delicious dinners.

Ingredients-
 2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 center cut bone-in pork chops
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup water
2 cubes beef bouillon

Directions-
Combine the salt, sage and black pepper in a small bowl and rub on both sides of the chops.
Melt the butter  in a large skillet over medium  heat and saute the chops for 5 minutes per side, or until well browned.
Meanwhile, in a separate small saucepan over high heat, combine the water and the bouillon and stir until bouillon dissolves.
Add this to the chops, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer chops for 45 minutes.
Serve and enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I love how you feel so connected to chicken. :) But now that you've found a solid pork chop recipe, don't you love them? They're texture and natural flavor? I saute mine in the pan with sliced shallots, broth, and two tablespoons of...whatever jam I have in the house. I can't tell you how delicious it is!
